		Sree Rama Polytechnic is to provide high quality equitable and accessible training and education to contribute to the economic and social development of the society.

A Day In Our Polytechnic

		The whole fraternity of the students with uniform and the faculty flow in to the lush green campus till 9 am. The regular classes begin at sharp 9 a.m. Polytechnic follows strict rules to assert the attendance of the students. The same will be taken on each period and it is an important part of Internal Assessment. There are a total of 7 periods in a day, each period spans for 55 minutes. The forenoon section has 4 periods and afternoon section 3 . Morning session interval is from 10.50 a.m to 11 a.m.
12.45 pm is the time for lunch. The college once again becomes live and active. Many students bring their lunch to the class room and some take the lunch from the canteen. Hostellers go to Hostel for their lunch. The afternoon session begins at 1.45 pm. There is no interval during the afternoon session. The classes are let off at 4.30 pm. The day system is followed in the polytechnic since 2004-05. This system is followed in the polytechnic to ensure that every subject gets the right proportion of periods in the course of the academic period. If it happens to be a strike on the second day, the next day will have the time table for the second day itself.
